Dormitory

Two dormitories are available for those needing to stay overnight at the Center in conjunction with approved research projects, extension activities, or other University business directly associated with the Center's purpose and mission. Both are three-bedroom houses that sleep six with laundry facilities, living area (with television), and complete kitchen facilities (microwave, stove, refrigerator). The kitchen is equipped with a limited selection of kitchenware including cookware, plates and cups, and utensils. Each dorm has high speed internet with wireless access. Dormitory guests must supply food, bedding, and towels. There are separate male and female sleeping quarters.

Dorm fees are as follows (effective 1/01/13):

$12.50 per person per night (linens and towels are not provided)
$325.00 per month per person

Monthly payment is by check, traveler's check, or money order made payable to "Regents of the University of California" or by recharge. There are no pre-payment requirements.

No pets are allowed in the dorm or in the surrounding area. Dorm users are expected to assist in maintaining the facility in a clean and attractive condition.

Space is limited and is made available on a reservation basis. Reservations may be made by calling Karen or Angela at (559) 884-2411.

For those wishing commercial hotel or motel accommodations, there are some available at the Highway 198 and I5 junction (20 minutes from the Center). They are:
