Charter

The University of California Hazardous Materials Shipping and Export Control (HMSEC) Workgroup exists to advise the University of California in general, and the University of California EH&S Directors Leadership Council (UC EHSLC) in particular, on issues of Compliance to the Hazardous Materials Transportation and Export Control Regulations. The HMSEC offers a forum for the exchange of ideas, solutions to common challenges, and discussion of common experiences. The HMSEC acts as subject matter experts including, but not limited to, review of new and emerging technologies, and new and emerging regulatory actions. The HMSEC also recommends courses of action, and works on other special projects as directed by the UC EHSLC
