The Water Efficient Landscape gardens are open to the public every day throughout the year. The edible landscape areas are open only during workshops and open garden days.
At Fair Oaks Horticulture Center workshops the Sacramento County Master Gardeners show how you can plant and care for ornamental and edible plants in environmentally friendly ways. Attend workshop presentations and view interesting displays to learn how you can do this in your own garden. Come to open garden days and go at your own pace through the various Horticulture Center areas. Watch demonstrations. Ask us about problems in your garden and we'll give you answers and advice.
