Commissioners

The Placer County Youth Commission consists of eighteen members - fifteen primary members and three alternate members - between 14-21 years of age (or in the 9th grade) who reside in Placer County. At a minimum, membership shall consist of at least one representative from each of the five supervisory districts in Placer County. Besides district representation, the Commission strives for appointments that represent youth from diverse community locals, backgrounds, and personal experiences.

Ambassadors

Ambassadors are youth (6th grade to age 21) who reside in Placer County. Ambassadors represent an interest area, organization, youth group, school or school group, or other segment of the population. They serve as the official connection between the Commission and the group or interest area they represent. Ambassadors have a desire to create positive change in the community, and are vital in linking youth throughout the county to the Commission.
