Many award and scholarship opportunities are available through the 4-H Youth Development Program on local, state, and national levels.

Placer County 4-H Scholarships

Placer County 4-H Council Scholarship Award
$300 scholarship awards will be given each year to qualifying Placer County 4-H high school members. This award has been made possible through the raising of a sale animal that is auctioned annually at the Junior Livestock Auction.

2013 4-H Council Scholarship Award Application

Hulbert Award
This award was established by Laura and Neil Hulbert, who were strong supporters of youth activities. The funds are to be bequeathed annually in the amount of $2,500 each to one male and one female Placer County student between the 14 and 18 years of age (by Dec 31 of the enrollment year of selection), and currently enrolled in Placer County 4-H.
