Presentation Day

This year, our Nevada County Presentation Day event will be held on February 16, 2013 at Bitney College Preparatory High School, 135 Joerschke Drive, in Grass Valley and will be hosted by Chicago Park 4-H Club. The event will begin at 8:30am and end at 12:30pm.

Competition will be held for members 9 years of age and older in all divisions. Youth members who receive a blue or gold at county level can move on to sectional (date to be announced). Primary members are invited to participate and will receive a certificate and a participation ribbon, but will not be judged. If anyone in a “Share the Fun” presentation is a primary member, that group can only be awarded for participation.

Please encourage all your members to give a presentation. Learning to give a presentation is an important part of the 4-H experience and the 4-H Presentation Day event is a perfect way for our youth to practice their public speaking in an informal and non-threatening environment.
