Garden of the Seven Sisters
The UCCE demonstration garden, "Garden of the Seven Sisters," provides a living classroom for the community where Master Gardeners can teach sustainable, science-based gardening practices for the home gardener.
Through their workshops, Master Gardener volunteers demonstrate sustainable landscape and gardening practices; conserving water and other natural resources, protecting and nurturing the soil, composting, providing habitat for beneficial insects and wildlife and gardening to provide a healthy harvest from your own backyard.
Funding for our garden comes from private donors, Pacific Gas and Electric Company and the San Luis Obispo County Community Fire Safe Council
