Community Plant Give and Take Events

Master Gardener volunteers are instrumental in staging many plant Give and Take events throughout Fresno County. In 1968, Garden Give and Take was a community service event begun by the Fresno County Women's Chamber of Commerce, twice a year. It has since been discontinued. But it began what became a popular activity staged at different venues each year during the spring and fall. Plants of all types including bulbs, cuttings and seeds are donated by many participating home gardeners. The plants are brought in bags, boxes, etc. They do not have to be in pots. The plants are identified by UCCE Master Gardeners and other volunteers. Share plants if you have them, but it is not a prerequisite.

There is no admission fee and the plants are FREE.

Saturday March 16, 2013 ~ Reedley

8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
