Speakers Bureau

Want to learn how to prune roses? Or plant a lawn? Or grow a vegetable garden?
Let the Master Gardeners help you.
The UC Master Gardeners are available to address your organization, meetings or events. Master Gardeners are trained in home gardening and can speak on a variety of topics. Presentations include such topics as roses, perennials, trees, vegetables, soils, irrigation, lawn, major home and garden pest problems and solutions, landscape design, vertebrate pest control, and weed control.
We provide guest speakers for your community groups, neighborhood associations, gardening groups and others who want information. Subjects range from common gardening information to specialty topics. Master Gardeners are trained volunteers who are certified by the University of California Cooperative Extension. Each volunteer has completed a 50-hour program of instruction in basic horticulture and pest management. Master Gardeners assist Cooperative Extension by extending information on gardening and pest management to the public.
If you are interested in a Master Gardener Home Gardening presentation, please call (559) 456-7285 or email us at mgfresno@ucdavis.edu with your request.
