This page shows the three logo styles; lists different formats; explains how to download the graphic files; and gives tips for using the various types of files.

Download Information
The logos are downloadable in several file types, explained below. To download the graphic file(s):
- Left-click on the filename to view the graphic.
- From the File menu on your browser, select "Save As."
- In the "Save in" box, find the folder on your hard drive where you want to store the file.
- Change the filename so that it is recognizeable to you, but do not change the file extension.
- Click "Save."
* Note: "eps" files downloaded with Internet Explorer have a ". ps" extension and will need to be renamed to ".eps". Read Microsoft documentation. FireFox does not have this problem.

Tips about file types and their best uses.
Color and Grayscale logos:
For professional layout and printing: EPS
For use in all Microsoft Office products: PNG (best), JPG (OK)
For web: GIF
B & W logo
For professional layout and printing: EPS
For use in PageMaker, and all Microsoft Office products except PowerPoint: TIF
For use in Microsoft PowerPoint: PNG
T-shirts, caps and those kind of uses often require .EPS, however it's best to ask the vendor what file type they need.
More detailed list of file types and their uses. This applies to both the color and the greyscale logos:
For Professional Printing (file name contains "CMYK")
Use when the logo is in a brochure, flyer, or publication that will be sent to a print shop.
Preferred files:
AI -- Used in Adobe InDesign, Adobe PageMaker, Adobe Illustrator.
EPS -- Used in Quark Express, Adobe InDesign, Adobe PageMaker, Adobe Illustrator.
Acceptable in some cases:
TIF -- Used in Quark Express, Adobe InDesign, Adobe PageMaker.
For Office Use (file name contains "RGB" or "SRGB")
Use when the logo is to appear on the Web, in Microsoft Powerpoint, Word, Publisher, or Adobe PageMaker and will be printed on office laser or inkjet printers.
Preferred file format for Microsoft Office:
PNG -- Microsoft Powerpoint, Word, and Publisher. Has a clear background so it can be used over a colored/textured backgrounds.
Other file types and uses:
GIF -- For web and for Powerpoint presentations. Has a clear background so it can be used over a colored/textured background.
JPG -- 72ppi version is for web and for Powerpoint presentations. 150ppi version for Microsoft Powerpoint, Word, and Publisher. Best used on white backgrounds.
TIF -- Microsoft Powerpoint, Word, and Publisher, Adobe PageMaker. 150ppi for most uses. 300ppi for larger uses like posters. Best used on white backgrounds.
