compelling, and meaningful way. When used consistently, University of California Master Gardener branding creates a lasting awareness and identification of the unique service we provide to California home gardeners, our partners and supporters.
We encourage you to adopt our new brand statement and use it routinely in all of your UC Master Gardener promotions and program development. The more we all use the same language, the more we build recognition and brand awareness for our unique program.

University of California Master Gardener volunteers can help you become a
better gardener. They are locally trained experts who will answer your
questions about home horticulture, sustainable landscaping, and
integrated pest management using University of California research-based
information.
What is a tagline and why should we use it?
A tagline is a memorable phrase that sums up the promise of the brand. Our
University of California Master Gardener tagline should be used as often and in
as many places as possible to make sure we are instantly recognizable as the
“go to” source for home gardeners’ questions. It goes hand-in-hand with the
brand statement.
