Bedding and Container Color Plant Integrated Pest Management
Welcome
Welcome to the UC Davis Bedding and Container Color Plant Integrated Pest Management program. Our mission is to develop and implement best management practices for the bedding and container color industry that will enhance sustainability and profitability.
This collaborative effort includes UC Davis and UC Riverside faculty and staff, UC Cooperative Extension farm advisors, allied industry professionals, and growers.
Novel, research-based IPM methods developed at the University are tested and refined in the field to provide practical solutions for growers. Work began in 2010 and we are currently funded through late 2013. Please see our Featured Projects for updates.
Funding
Major funding for this project has been provided by the California Department of Food and Agriculture and the United States Department of Agriculture’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture.
