NEW 2012-2013 RESEARCH RATE ANNOUNCED

In July 2012 the Research Rate Committee met and approved the following Rate for Desert Research & Extension Center for the 2012-2013 research year:

FIELD RESEARCH RATE

$9.77/PER HOUR

The Full Cost rate per hour for Field research conducted at UC-Desert Research & Extension Center (DREC) for the 2012-2013 fiscal year is $55.56 per hour.

ANR and DREC have used funds from different sources to subsidize the research rate by $45.79 per hour for all University of California Researchers. Therefore, the subsidized research rate for UC-Researchers is:

$9.77/ per hour.

Non-UC-affiliated Researchers will be charged the Full cost Rate plus the NUD which is 29%
