NEW 2011-2012 RESEARCH RATE ANNOUNCED

In July 2011 the Research Rate Committee met and approved the following Rate for Desert Research & Extension Center for the 2011-2012 research year:

FIELD RESEARCH RATE

$9.16/PER HOUR

The Full Cost rate per hour for Field research conducted at UC-Desert Research & Extension Center (DREC) for the 2011-2012 fiscal year is $48.12 per hour.

ANR and DREC have used funds from different sources to subsidize the research rate by $38.96 per hour for all University of California Researchers. Therefore, the subsidized research rate for UC-Researchers is:

$9.16/ per hour.

FEEDMILL RESEARCH RATE

$9.30/PER HOUR

The Full Cost rate per hour for Feedmill research conducted at UC-Desert Research & Extension Center (DREC) for the 2011-2012 fiscal year is $41.31 per hour.

ANR and DREC have used funds from different sources to subsidize the research rate by $32.01 per hour for all University of California Researchers. Therefore, the subsidized research rate for UC-Researchers is:

$9.30/ per hour.

Non-UC-affiliated Researchers will be charged the Full cost Rate plus the NUD which is 29%
