Overview
This online database was developed with funding from a grant, “Developing Internet Resources for California Specialty Crops” awarded by the California Department of Food and Agriculture in 2011-2012.
This website is part of a three-year project to organize and archive research reports projects supporting the California stone fruit industry from 1939 to 2010. The majority of the research was conducted by University of California personnel, and encompassed a wide range of production topics, from cultivar development to postharvest treatment. These reports, submitted annually to the California Tree Fruit Agreement, were acquired by the Fruit & Nut Research and Information Center, and formatted electronically. The reports, in pdf format, are housed in the Repository of the University of California Division of Agricultural & Natural Resources, and may be viewed and downloaded individually.
The earliest reports in this archive are from 1959. A few reports are from the 1960s and 1970s; from 1980 - 2011; annual reports are from 1980 - 2011.
