The Office of Human Resources has responsibility for providing leadership, coordination and consulting services in the following areas:

Academic Personnel applies policies and procedures in the area of recruitment, advancement, compensation, and employee relations for county-based and statewide unit academic appointees in ANR.

Staff Personnel applies policies and procedures in the area of classification and employment for county-based, Oakland-based, and other off site units in ANR. Coordinated labor relation issues, manage personnel data-bases, and process payroll.
