Workgroup Information Human Resources Coordinating Conference
Summary	The Human Resources Coordinating Conference Workgroup seeks to fulfill its long-term roles through work that contributes to the creation of an ever increasingly more skilled ANR staff and responsive programs. The Workgroup for 2006 focused its efforts on work, programs and training targeted at cultural competence. The major effort was the hosting of a conference meant to highlight promising new practices, the identification of new challenges, and the opportunities for learning new skills to become more effective educators and researchers. For 2006-07, a Human Resource Program Combined Coordinating Conferences Update will be held. The Conference should serve several ends including showcasing the connections across the youth development, community development, and nutrition education areas as well as connections to agricultural and natural resources. Emphasis will also be placed on partnerships between the University and the community.
