ANR reached an agreement with John Buckel and Rod Johnson of Capital Partners Development Company and Sam, Gwen and Jeff Harrison of the Davis Indoor Sports Center, LLC, for the purchase and renovation of the building located at 2801 Second Street in Davis. <title> VP to present at regents meeting May 15</title>      
<description><![CDATA[VP Barbara Allen-Diaz will give a presentation about ANR at the May 15 regents meeting in Sacramento. &amp;ldquo;Investing in California&amp;rdquo; is the second discussion item on the Committee on Educational Policy&amp;rsquo;s agenda, which begins at 1 p.m. and adjourns at 2:20 p.m.
The regents will be meeting at the Sacramento Convention Center, 1400 J Street, and the educational policy session is open to the public. Background material was mailed to the regents in advance of the meeting.

<description><![CDATA[With more than 1,500 individuals watching live from 34 different countries and six continents last week, the Global Food Systems Forum live webcast was a huge success. The online conversation on Twitter attracted nearly 300 participants, and the forum hashtag #Food2025 trended as the third most popular topic on Twitter during the event.

I am pleased to announce that ANR&amp;rsquo;s 2012 competitive grants program will fund 16 projects, for a total of approximately $5 million over 5 years. The awards range in value from $46,226 to nearly $600,000. Last year we funded 19 projects with $4.46 million over 5 years.
