Air quality considerations in California have a huge impact on any project involving combustion. Air quality rules are managed by local California Air Quality Districts. Click on the shaded areas to identify the district and to see contact details. It will help you to identify which district you are in.

Early engagement with the Air Quality District is important to establish whether a project is appropriate for a specific location. Further contact details for the districts can be found on the California Air Resources Board website.
