On March 15, 2012, the Central Coast Water Board adopted updated requirements for irrigated agriculture (Order #R3-2012-0011). The updated requirements are now in effect. These downloadable flyers contain information about the Order: 1) Flyer about the updated order (English and Spanish), 2) List of upcoming grower workshop dates (English and Spanish), 3) Frequently asked questions (English) and 4) Frequently asked questions (Spanish)
For your information, if a landowner and/or operator has NOT yet enrolled their farms in the Ag Order by submitting an electronic Notice of Intent (eNOI), they must do so by May 15, 2012 to be in compliance. More detailed information about the Ag Order, enrollment and eNOI information is located on the Water Board's web site at: http://www.waterboards.ca.gov/centralcoast/water_issues/programs/ag_waivers/index.shtml

About UCNFA (formerly CORF)
Beginning in 2010, the University of California Nursery and Floriculture Alliance (UCNFA) will be the name for the organization formerly known as the California Ornamental Research Federation (CORF). This will reflect the outreach program's expanding focus to include all aspects of the California nursery and floriculture industry.
The University of California Nursery and Floriculture Alliance (UCNFA) aims to serve the educational needs of the various agricultural production industries in California that produce greenhouse ornamental crops and outdoor nursery products.
Prior to 2008, the management of UCNFA was through the Kee Kitayama Research Foundation (www.kkrf.org) and the California Cut Flower Commission (www.ccfc.org). During 2008 this management was moved to the University of California.
