Workshops/Conferences/Tours

Our goal is to ensure that high quality, creative, and integrated research and extension programs are established and conducted in Marin County. To accomplish this, we need the help and expertise of many other groups and organizations.

The events were co-organized with our many community partners including: Marin Agricultural Land Trust, County Ag Commissioners Office, Marin Center, Marin County Office of Education, Marin Co. Farm Bureau, Marin Organic, Community Development Agency, Marin Fire Dept. MCSTOPPP, County Libraries, Marin Art and Garden Center, Natural Resources Conservation Service, Marin Resource Conservation District, Tomales Bay Watershed Council, Marin Farmers Market Association, Ca Oak Mortality Task Force, McEvoy Ranch, Parks and Open Space, City of San Rafael Falkirk Center, College of Marin IVC campus, Conservation Corps North Bay, Environmental Forum, Dominican College, Western United Dairymen.

7,412 people were served in 84 workshops, conferences and tours organized with our community partners.

Our school outreach programs provided nutrition and science education to 6,445 youth and children at farm day events, in school gardens, and childcare facilities.
