- Resource List
This resource list contains links to key documents and articles that may inform your thinking as you prepare for the UC ANR Sustainable Food Systems Conference. Some of the documents are quite well known to you, including the UC ANR Strategic Vision. Others may be new. The list contains some pieces that are purely factual, some strategic and visionary in nature, and some pieces that may challenge your thinking. These pieces are in no particular order and do not represent an exhaustive list of available resources.
While this list should not be considered a homework assignment, we do hope that you’ll pay particular attention to the first item on the list - the UC ANR Sustainable Food Systems Strategic Initiative Plan – as we will be discussing aspects of that document at the Conference. The second item on the list – the UC ANR Strategic Vision – will be discussed during the opening session. The third item – Managing California’s Water: From Conflict to Reconciliation – will likely be referenced in the plenary panel bearing the same name.
If you think of other pieces that would inform your colleagues, we would be happy to add to this list. Please send your suggestions to Rose Hayden-Smith at rmhaydensmith@ucdavis.edu AND Sherry Cooper at slcooper@ucdavis.edu
