Conference was held on Tuesday, October 11, 10 a.m. to Thursday, October 13, Noon

UC Davis, Freeborn Hall and the Memorial Union
Goals
Provide opportunities for UC academics working in all areas of sustainable food systems to learn about the work of other UC academics, deepen connections and explore opportunities for collaboration (Strengthening our connections with others)
Provide case studies of successful project/team work across the continuum (advisor, specialist, campus)
Showcase research via academic and student poster sessions
Provide an opportunity for participants to learn more about a variety of issues relevant to sustainable food systems, including water, climate change, food safety, economics, etc.
Provide an opportunity for participants to learn more about public policy and funding opportunities
Provide an opportunity for participants to equip themselves with specific tools to improve their “reach” and policy relevance
Provide an opportunity for Program Teams to meet
