In October 2011, the UC Division of Agriculture & Natural Resources signed a construction contract with RE WEST Builders Inc. of Santa Rosa. This contract provides for construction on the Shippey Facility’s essential building elements to begin in mid-October 2011 and for construction to be completed by late July 2012.
Construction progress at the site, which is at the headquarters area of the Hopland Research & Extension Center, can be viewed on the live Shippey Facility Construction webcam (image below).
