Program Team Meeting, Feb 7-8, 2012

Visit the new ANR Program Team Meetings website for more information about Program teams affiliated with the Healthy Families and Communities strategic initiative. The first HFC related Program Team took place on Feb 7-8, 2012 at teh UC Davis Rec Pool Lodge.

Participating program teams included:

HFC 2011 Strategic Initiative Conference

May 17-19, 2011

Building on strong traditions within our organization, our conference this year focused on how we can broaden and deepen the policy relevance of our ANR research and extension work. The Healthy Families and Communities strategic initiative panel set the following goals for the conference:

Equip attendees with tools and strategies to make our work more policy relevant;
Further develop policy relevant research on the three HFC strategic initiative topics of healthy living and obesity prevention, youth science literacy, and positive youth development;
Meet with program teams/workgroups;
Introduce the new Youth Families and Communities director and leadership team
