UCCE Sudden Oak Death (SOD) Coordinator Janice Alexander gave a presentation on how SOD affects our coastal woodlands for those interested in the forest health of private property, open space, farms, and ranches. UC Extension specialist Doug McCreary provided an overview of oaks in? California's coastal forests, putting this disease in context. Inverness arborist and forester Tom Gaman joined the panel and audience discussion, representing a local perspective.
