McOmie Room Dedication 2006

A few years ago, the McOmie family donated approximately $9.1 Million to UCD which was divided, according to the will of the family, equally between the department of Agronomy and Range Science and Animal Science. Most of the funds are currently used for graduate student support.

On March 21, 2006 at 3 PM the department of Plant Sciences in collaboration with the department of Animal Science held an official ceremony to dedicate the conference room at PES 3001 to Lorenzo and Judith McOmie.

A reception followed the dedication ceremony. Everyone in the department was invited for the ceremony and the reception.
