Who We Are

The Mother Lode 49ers 4H Club is a group of youth members and adult volunteers from a variety of towns within El Dorado County. We have many members that reside in Diamond Springs and El Dorado as well as members that travel from Pleasant Valley and Cameron Park.

We meet on the 1st Monday of every month beginning October through July. Our club meeting begins at 7:00 pm and is completed by 8:00 pm. The Club meeting is separate form your project meeting that may also meet once a month. Time and location of the project meetings will vary - for example if you have a beef meeting you may travel from one members house to another to see their ranch and their steer. One month you may travel to UC Davis to see their swine area if you are in the Swine project. You attend meetings, participate in new learning experiences, and may be involved in making presentations and community services projects. You may also want to participate in 4-H camps, the county fair, or take a trip to other states and countries.
