The Climate Change Program Team

The UC Agriculture and Natural Resources (UC ANR) Climate Change Program Team was formed in April 2015 and is co-led by:

  • Sarah-Mae Nelson | UC Climate Stewards Initiative Academic Coordinator
  • Andy Lyons | Informatics and GIS (IGIS) Statewide Program Program Coordinator
  • Hope Zabronsky | Climate Smart Agriculture Program Academic Coordinator

Our priority is capacity building within UC ANR to address climate change training needs, and to contribute to a strong regional climate change network across Cooperative Extension programs in the southwestern US. We are a cross disciplinary team working in close collaboration with the Water Resources and Research to Policy program teams.

We've have two past workshops related to climate change, first in 2018 and again in 2019
