The Water Conversations Project

Wecome to the website for the University of California (UC) Cooperative Extension Community Water Conversations Project. This project aimed to provide California citizens with an opportunity to discuss and learn about water policy options in the state in a facilitated, non-threatening, and positive environment. Although there have been numerous opportunities for public input into various water plans, UC Water Conversations provided a different style of discussion and approach to community involvement. Conversations followed a National Issues Forum approach to dealing with policy issues.

The project was completed during 2011. However, please take a moment to review our website and to view the project report and video.
