Volunteer Leader Requirements
4-H Volunteer Leaders are appointed annually by the University of California Cooperative Extension County Director upon completion enrollment at 4-H Online and a Confidential Self-Disclosure Survey. All volunteer applicants must complete a Leader Orientation and successfully clear a California Department of Justice background check (Livescan fingerprinting) initiated by University of California Cooperative Extension prior to their initial appointment. To complete Livescan fingerprinting, you can go to any provider listed on the document found here: Fresno County Livescan Service Providers. Be sure to provide the form provided here: Request for Live Scan Service
To complete a Leader Orientiation, watch the video below and complete the Orientation Quiz linked below the video frame. Be sure to complete instructions on your score sheet when you complete your quiz.
