The systemic insecticides – schradan – octamethyl pyrophosphoramide and demeton or Systox–O,O-diethyl O-ethyl-beta-mercaptoethyl thionphos-phate–and their derivatives have shown unusual promise for the control of mites and aphids and other sucking insects of a variety of agricultural crops.
