Natural Resources and Animal Agriculture Program Leader
Main page

UC ANR's Natural Resource and Animal Agriculture Program conducts research and outreach programs which are integral to balancing societal needs and desires, an everchanging combination of commodity production, wildlife habitat, water supply and quality, air quality, etc. The Natural Resource and Animal Agriculture Program is a vital part of the urban, agricultural and wildland landscapes of California. The core of the program is sound resource management, whether it be in the production of forest products, provision of good water quality, or any other of the myriad of commodities and values associated with our natural resources. The prime challenge is continuation of resource values in concert with the increasing population of the state and the increased demands that puts upon our environment.
