Office of the Vice President
Main page

Daniel M. Dooley
The Vice President provides administrative leadership for the University of California's programs in Agriculture and Natural Resources. As chief executive officer, he provides overall direction to the Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources in the development and articulation of shared values and visions. Because the Division is the land-grant arm of the University, the Vice President serves as director of the California Agricultural Experiment Station and of California Cooperative Extension, as well as chair of the ANR Executive Council. The Vice President seeks funding opportunities in support of programs and collaborates with non-UC entities as the primary contact with higher education groups, government agencies, and commodity and public organizations to achieve common goals. In addition, the Vice President oversees the Office of the Associate Vice President and Office of Governmental and External Relations.
