Q What is best way to dispose of my  Christmas tree?

A It&apos;s hard to believe that your tree  will lose its holiday luster, but eventually it will.
A simple  solution for disposal is to utilize your green waste bin.&#xa0; Cut your tree into  four feet or smaller lengths, with no tree part greater than six inches in  diameter.&#xa0; The tree must be free of tinsel and decoration.&#xa0; Flocked trees are  not accepted.

First of all, it is invasive into grassland and meadows.  It releases salt into the soil, raising the salt level high enough to inhibit other plant seeds, especially grasses.  It also doesn&apos;t serve as a food source for animals.  It can out compete the native plants for water, light and space.
Secondly, it is really bad for erosion control!  The plants are very heavy with very limited and weak root systems.  As they become heavier, the sheer......<br clear="all">]]></description>

The free training provides basic information about types of pesticides, selecting pesticides, and pesticide safety. The narrated course takes about 40 minutes to complete, includes quizzes, and gives a certificate of completion once finished.

		<title> School Garden- What Can Be Accomplished in One Day!</title>

Thirty parents and teachers showed up to break ground on the school garden this Saturday at San Gabriel School.

 

Lyn Lochridge from the MG class of 2008 came to learn and help instruct parents, kids, and teachers in water systems and water control. 		<title> Open House for New Master Gardeners</title>

There will be experienced Master Gardeners present to answer any questions and describe the various activities that Master Gardeners are actively participating in.  There will also be textbooks and curriculum present to give a good idea to new-comers what the education material entails.

		<title> Congratulations to the Demonstration Garden Committee!!</title>      
		<description>Hello to you all!  Rumors are true - she&apos;s baaaaaccckkk!!  I am very happy to bring two bits of good news! 
First, I have returned to work full-time as of October 6th.  Thanks to all of you for the cards, emails, good wishes, and support through the past 4 months.  There have been countless times where your kindness came at just the right time to make my day better.  While these months have been a brand new rich experience, we are glad to be moving on!
