		<description><![CDATA[On Oct 5, Gail Fulbert, Paul Brink and I attended the Asian Citrus Psyllid presentation in Yuba City. We learned that the tiny little Asian Citrus Psyllid is the vector for the Huanglongbing (HLB) citrus disease that is helping destroy the Florida citrus industry. There is no cure for the bacterial disease and it is always fatal to citrus trees and closely related plants in the Rutaceae family. 		<description><![CDATA[Happy Spring!&#xa0; As I&#8217;m writing, the sun is shining, plants are growing, the Sprouts are working on their final exams, the MGs are almost done with their recertification process, and we&#8217;re going to have 112 Master Gardeners in El Dorado County!&#xa0;&#xa0; Life is good.

		<description><![CDATA[At the February General Meeting we agreed to change the General Meeting to the fourth Thursdays of the month so we can use the Veterans Memorial Building, which has room for all existing and new members to attend. &#xa0;Since the Sprouts won&#8217;t attend the General Meetings until May and we have guest speakers already scheduled for March and April, we&#8217;re going to remain on the current schedule for the General Meetings until May.

Sierra Wildlife Rescue will come and speak to us about our beautiful partners in Integrated Pest Management at our upcoming General Meeting. I&apos;m sure happy when I see them on our place, carrying off those small, but powerfully effective destructors of my garden. The volunteers from Sierra Wildlife Rescue will be bringing birds (at least one!) with them, so you&apos;ll have a chance to get up close and personal.&#xa0; How can......<br clear="all">]]></description>
