I like Chrome. I use Chrome for just about all of my web browsing. With the recent changes in the Chrome browser came some improvements and a problem. Adobe Connect's plug-in, required to share video and audio is not compatible with Chrome 21, the current version.
Chrome does work for participants, but not Hosts.
As an alternative, use IE or FireFox until Adobe comes up with a compatible plug-in.

With the latest version of Adobe Connect Pro we can now add ReadyTalk phone conferencing to online meetings without using an open microphone and speakerphone.
This is a case where telephones and VoIP converge.
There are three basic steps to make this happen:
- In Adobe Connect, select the preset audio profile for ReadyTalk
- Add to your meeting room's information that you want to use the audio profile
- In the meeting room, turn on the meeting audio by specifying the phone will be used
You will be telling the people in the meeting your ReadyTalk codes as usual if you want them to use their phones. This would be common for meetings where you want conversation rather than presentation. For one-to-many events like a town hall and some webinars, only the host/presenters would use the phones and the participants will use their computer speakers.
Either way, everyone will be able to hear everything regardless of the source. With the ReadyTalk conference as part of the Adobe Connect meeting, Connect will be able to record all of the meeting audio including those on the phone.
Here are the detailed instructions to set up ReadyTalk to work with Adobe Connect
The upgrade on the Adobe-hosted server UCD and ANR uses will be upgraded this Saturday. This will mean two things: The URL will change and the look and operation will change.
We know the change will take place this Saturday May 7, but we don't know how meetings will be affected that day. We do know that Adobe has been updating servers all over the world to version 8 since last October, so they are experienced at it. It is not new to them, it is just new to us.
We are positioned to make sure you still have access through your ANR Portal so that will continue to be the most convenient method to get into Adobe Connect to host a meeting.
All hosts and presenters will need new Adobe Connect add-ins installed. This will occur as it does now; if you need it, the system will notify you, you will accept the suggestion, and it will install automatically. This will be needed for every computer/browser you use with Adobe Connect, just as you have done before.
New tutorials will be available for the new features and will also be available through your ANR Portal.
