The ANR Office of Affirmative Action (AA) is responsible for various related trainings including Civil Rights, Affirmative Action requirements, Diversity, and Sexual Harassment Prevention and Harassment Prevention. The University of California provides biannually Sexual Harassment Prevention Training for Supervisors, however this training is not mandated of non-supervisor employees. The ANR AA Office regularly receives requests from employees for harassment prevention training for non-supervisors. Affirmative Action Analyst David White working with instructional designer Steve Heindl of ANR Communications Services and Information Technology developed a web-based Harassment Prevention Training for Non-supervisors. The short training is not mandated but provides excellent information on identifying harassment, the 4-Point harassment tool, and managing and reporting harassment. The ANR AA Office encourages ANR employees to take the 15-minute training. It would make an excellent office or staff meeting training activity.
If you have a question or comment about this training please use our ANR Training Request/Suggestion form.
