Is it for me?
Do I have to take it?
Where is it?
These are the fundamental questions about training the ANR Training Coordination Committee sought to answer for anyone in ANR. We did this by finding training resources that already exist and put links to them on the ANR Training website.
The site is designed to let the visitor self-select their position in ANR by offering pages specifically for academics, staff and directors. This will help answer the question, "Is it for me?" We also offer three other common navigation choices for those who already know what they are looking for using the top navigation tabs: Communications Technology, Compliance and Safety.
To help visitors answer the "Do I have to take it?" question, there are icons indicating whether the material listed is Required, Strategic (a good idea for your organization or career) or Informational (something you might be interested in knowing).
Is absolutely everything there? Probably not, but we're trying to gather everything we can so ANR academics and staff can easily find what they need or want in the way of training. We have a calendar of scheduled events, links to UCOP and campus-based resources, ANR-produced materials, and training materials we've found elsewhere.
Feedback is an important part of any communication effort and we want to hear from you. What training, as a member of the ANR community, are you looking for? Have you found something you think should be included on the website? Do you need help to develop something you think should be offered to ANR? Here's our feedback form. Use it often.
