Biography

College degrees in communications and journalism, with expertise as newspaper editor, publications editor and photographer, insect photographer and photo editor. Long-time agriculturist (born and reared on 300-acre dairy farm) and 4-H volunteer. Co-author of Aquatic Pest Control book, ANR publication, with Patrick O'Connor-Marer. Credentials include: recipient of national and international awards for writing, editing and photography. Received four gold awards for writing from ACE ( Association for Communication Excellence in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Life and Human Sciences), an international association of communicators and information technologists, and Outstanding Professional Skill Award in the writing category. International award-winning photographer, writer and editor.
