We hope you'll be a part of Extension as a 4-H volunteer. As a 4-H volunteer you can help youth develop into responsible, self-directed, productive citizens of the world. Our program focuses on citizenship, leadership, and life skills development using a "learn-by-doing" educational model. Our mission is to help youth reach their fullest potential while advancing the field (academic knowledge) in positive youth development.

Youth Learn Leadership at 4-H State Leadership Conference

In August 2007, 420 high school-aged youth and 110 adult 4-H volunteers convened at the UC Davis campus for the annual 4-H State Leadership Conference.
